This project was started in June of 2024, when two of our members visited the

 Spanaway Cemetery in Spanaway, Washington. Walking through the 

cemetery and seeing the condition of the veteran headstones,

they thought that it would be a great project for our Post.

What better way to honor our fallen veterans

than by cleaning and placing a flag on their final resting place.

After 4 months, our 8+ volunteers had worked twice a week and cleaned

a total of 205 headstones at 4 local church cemeteries.
