Each Veterans Day, Americans come together to honor the contributions and sacrifices of the more than 20 million veterans and service members...those who have borne the burden of battle so others may live peacefully. 
 
As someone who has worn or continues to wear the uniform of our great country, you bravely served when most never will. You have fought to ensure America continues to be the land of the free. Veterans Day is YOUR  holiday, and while we know you didn't do it for the glory or praise, you deserve every single bit of recognition you receive. 
 
On behalf of the VFW, thank you for your dedicated service. Happy Veterans Day!

 VFW Post 9079 and Auxiliary Members Our Next Regular Business Meeting of the Spanaway, Art Drexler VFW Post 9079 will be held Tuesday, December 12th, 2023, at 7:00pm. 
 
The monthly meeting location is Spanaway Lutheran Church at 16001 A St. South; Spanaway, WA  98387. There is plenty of parking. Comradeship gathering begins at 6 p.m. and the main meeting starts promptly at 7 p.m.
 
For those unable to attend in person we have access to Zoom. Address and access information normally is posted or sent to the membership via email.
